The tail light follow the rudder movement. But the emission point of the light itself don't. So light on the ground don't move and it reflect on the rudder surface when you turn it.

This isn't the only problem with the rudder. I played multiplayer for the first time last night in the P-51D and was astonished to find how different the physics model, particularly rudder behaviour on takeoff etc is from the single-player game. Why on Earth is this the case? I love how much more realistic the multiplayer version is, but why lull people into a false sense of security with the much more simplified 'dumbed-down' version in single-player? Surely it'll just cause confusion in programming and implementation having two different models in work. Bizarre.

This sounds like a problem with your settings.

Under Options - Gameplay, check your Game flight and Game avionics mode.

Also in special tab, check autorudder and take-off assistant.

Maybe you have some options activated for singleplayer, but the multiplayerserver has them enforced off.

Oh no! It looks as though you are right. There is a slider in the Special tab for take-off assistance and it was set to 100% I shall go and test it now.

In the meantime, I have started a thread on the subject and now I look a huge tool. How do I delete a thread?

:D
