HoneyBadger Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 When I plug the throttle in, only the 5 circular LED's next to the friction knob light up, and Windows make the notification sound when it's detected a new USB, but then the LED's turn off and I get a notification telling me there's an issue with the USB that was plugged in. The Throttle doesn't show up in the Game Controllers property window but it does show up in Device Manager as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" with a yellow triangle over it. When I open the properties for the device, the description says this: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor failed. Anyone know of a way to fix this? I've tried every USB port on my PC but it's the same through out.
MAXsenna Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Probably a far shot, but look for dirt in the plug or if it's out of shape somehow that will make a bad connection. Had this with a controller once. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Dreadwing Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Same thing happened to me. It was a dead main board. Easy switch, but I had to pay ~$75 usd for a replacement. It's easy to swap, though. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
