Morpheus Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Hi, is there a way to make a camera travelling in DCS, move in direction view at 90° I know camera view in DCS but don't find solution, tried with an AI vehicle but no way to lock view on it AND change angle during travel. Thank for help
Eight Ball Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) I'm not really sure what you are asking but if you want to move the camera in one direction (say heading 0) while looking in another (say hdg 90) and still be able to control its movement I think the only way to do it with with headtracking (i.e TrackIR). Make sure to enable TrackIR in external views in the settings If that's not what you mean, feel free to ask in french ;) Edited April 18, 2020 by Eight Ball word Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)
Morpheus Posted April 13, 2020 Author Posted April 13, 2020 Ok, have not tried this, will do it thank you
Tigroou Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Salut Morpheus :) you can also use padlock (and allow it) use F2, then hit alt+F2 to free the camera azimuth with mouse control or arrows, in this situation padlock is working as well. second solution: use camera movement: for a ground object on which you want to have the travelling: set ctr+F11 (free cam) then create a speed of this camera: L ALT+* or / then ALT+F2 same procedure as in F2 mode, during the camera travelling you can still offset it with L ALT+ arrows numpad. hope it will work! A+!
