HOTAS Layout with long and short keys

Since I could not find a Warthog HOTAS for F-15C that I liked, I made my own with the built-in GUI in DCS.

 

However, I could not find anything that allowed me to put in commands that utilized a long or short key like I am accustomed to using in the Hog (i.e to create a SPI <TMS UP LONG>).

 

Is there a way to do this through the DCS GUI or do I have to use something else to achieve this?

Not with the built-in DCS GUI. However, you can create a custom script using the TM Software to assign different joystick buttons to long and short press.
