msalama Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Co-pilot seat, back wall. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
D4n Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Nope didn't, thanks, and wow that's weird that those 2 instruments have a different circuit and their own transformer. Or do all other instruments not run on 5.5V aswell? o_O DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013 DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. danvac Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 According that picture it's 5 instruments and it should be instruments added during modernisation from 8T to 8MT.
D4n Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Yes, sorry, 5... So, danvac, do you think those 5 instruments didn't have any light whatsoever in 8T version? O_O Wouldn't that be super strange? D4n Posted April 18, 2020 Author Posted April 18, 2020 to me looks like on the the top right instrument is missing, but the radar-altimeter is there aswell I think DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013 DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. Dehuman Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Nope didn't, thanks, and wow that's weird that those 2 instruments have a different circuit and their own transformer. Or do all other instruments not run on 5.5V aswell? o_O Aircraft instruments are a super weird mix of voltages and AC DC. Different companies make them with little thought of uniformity. It's not like in say automobiles where the industry has agreed that it's 12 or 24V DC. It's a long watch but this video touches on this several times in the 747 cockpit
danvac Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) to me looks like on the the top right instrument is missing, but the radar-altimeter is there aswell I think There is some radar-altimeter, but it's same or different? New one have probably different voltage requirements. Edited April 18, 2020 by danvac
