Exile5121 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 The arc is much more efficient but the missile snaps at the end of the arc about 8 seconds before impact
shaHeen-1 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 If you're watching it through a track then know that those are ooofed up.
Kumabit Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Yeah I got the same behavior. I was able to hit a non-maneuvering target (35,000 ft) from 40 nmi away at 40,000 ft at Mach .9. The unlofted missile did a 5 degrees snap at the end phase at the same altitude as the target, and the lofted missile did a 12 degrees snap at a higher altitude. Both missiles hit the target but the lofted missile almost overshot
L0op8ack Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Maybe ED changed terminal phase seeker guidance logic. Need do some research.
AeriaGloria Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I know the Hornet had an issue with its missiles being guided in pure pursuit intul pit bull Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
shaHeen-1 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Maybe ED changed terminal phase seeker guidance logic. Need do some research. Yes the exact logic is: if missile_name == SD10: be_shit() XD
L0op8ack Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Yes the exact logic is: if missile_name == SD10: be_shit() XD No, it affect all ARH missiles.
shaHeen-1 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I know. I was joking. It's obvious that this needs more fine tuning.
