for what its worth, Deka. i think the module is one of the best in the game and I happily defer to the SME's on any aircraft in this game. I am not a pilot (of anything wirh more than 120 horsepower, anyway), most people here are not. and their winging about things they are wholly unqualified to make judgements on is uncalled for. As an American I am happy to have you guys in the field here. for the love of flight above all else. I am genuinely sorry that the community often berates products and development based on the preconception that everything china makes is "cheap chinese crap" if that were the case ditch your 1200 dollar monitor, your 500 dollar joystick and your thousand dollar iphone. its crap, right?

SAIU placed into bomb standby, after fusing. No drop. at all - Is SAIU functional W exception of manual gun arm? CCIP does not allow drops while close to the ground and nose is up. This is specifically with GBU12's and 10's with jtac or self-lase. lofting dumb bombs is just a waste. Coming from the harrier you could whip one off at 15 miles away in a 20 degree climb and 500 kts and there would be a very good kill probability Thats because the CCIP on that aircraft didn't impose any limits besides -g's, I suppose. Anyway - SAIU seems to not work for dropping (if you could explain what I am doing wrong or confirm its lack of functionality in current open beta it would be appreciated) And CCIP seems to be entirely unusable for this. No toss love.trk

but can you do it blind. eg, tossing over a ridge?

Can you also do it for Tpod TOO's? - Addtl, DTOS does not seem friendly for blind lofting

Does not seem to be the function of DTOS, DTOS is similar to the standby CCIP->CCRP thing you get by holding your pickle button once a target is selected

fair enough! tejas is definitely something that interests me a fair bit, a modern cheap production fighter that tries to pull in the good from many places rather than sticking to a single doctrine

we want simulation, that means that Phoenix's should be scary. It also means that the sd-10 is a substantially more modern missile than the 120 Charlie. so instead of breaking a good missile why not develop a more modern missile? make the 120D, fix the SD10. both sides are happy. this is just a cop-out bow to people that want something that DCS isnt, or at least something I hope DCS isn't
