PVI-800 Is there any way to add an ingress point or nav tgt on my own position?

As the title says, I would like to see if I can use the PVI-800 to create an Ingress Point or Nav Target on my own position.

 

 

I know I can do it manually using the ABRIS, getting my own coordinates and typing them on the PVI-800 but would like to know if there is a better way of doing this.

Yes

INU-UPDATE "aft" on the update position, in future will be named Overfly

Selector on ENT

Press TGT POINT

Press the number you want create or modify

Then push the uncage on the stick

Press ENTER on PVI

Switch the selector back to OPER

This works, but only if I lock something. So I locked the ground near me and kinda worked too.

You forgot to set the switch on the overfly position

I only have one more question. Why do you have the text of OVERIDE instead of the UPDATE text?

I think that's "Overfly"...isn't it?

 

It's the correct labelling which has been applied in the last mini-update. Unless I'm totally wrong.
