I successfully rolled back to the release to fly on a specific server. However, now I am always prompted to update to the open beta. Any additional secrets to type into the dos prompt? I'm considering 2 installs because I have the space on my SSDs, but it would be nice not to be constantly prompted to update to beta.

Fair enough. But I remember that if you install the "release" it only asks you to update to the latest release. No?

Yes. You can remove the text file in DCS root folder that provide the open beta string. Don’t remember the name of the file right now but it only includes the openbeta word.

Perfect. Thanks.

for anyone else who reads this (some day), the file is called "autoupdate." Change 'openbeta' to 'release.'
