wdailey Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 Not that it was a mystery, more that it wasn't ever reported, it's really not game-breaking or so far off that it blows immersion. But it has been reported now, and a fix is in progress, I found a cool document from NASA that matched up with G B thoughts so that is good info for me to take to the team. Thanks. Snakedoc Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 hey NineLine! Did this fix make it to the release of the SC? I'm playing the campaign "Cage the bear" from kaba: when launching (using burner) the F/A18C from CVN-72 Lincoln I see IAS of 200+ kts at the end of the cat. DCS 2.5.6.49718 Open Beta hot fix: same issue when launching from CVN-72. 210+kts at the end of the cat CVN-71 is fine ASUS ROG STRIX Z490 F-GAMING | i7-10700K | RTX3090 TUF OC | 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz | Windows 10 64bit | Acer Predator X34P | TrackIR 5 | TM Warthog | TM T.Flight Rudder Pedals A-10C | A-10C II | F/A-18C | F-16C | FC3 | PG | Syria | SC Home made F-16C simulator Forum Thread: DCS World forum - The Viper Project - Home Cockpits Instagram: The Viper Project YouTube The Viper Project - Youtube channel
obious Posted May 12, 2021 Author Posted May 12, 2021 Just tried this again at the weekend. Launched a fully loaded F-14 (6xPH, 2xSP, 2xA9 & two external tanks) and I’m still getting to the end of the cat with around 200kts end speed Intel 12900k @ 5.2Ghz, RTX 4090, Samsung 1TB NVME, Thrustmaster Warthog & F-18 stick, Pendular Rudder Pedals - Quest Pro AV8B N/A UFC Build Log AV8B N/A PCBs for sale
