[REPORTED] Is the SC catapult end-speed/force correct?

Not that it was a mystery, more that it wasn't ever reported, it's really not game-breaking or so far off that it blows immersion. But it has been reported now, and a fix is in progress, I found a cool document from NASA that matched up with G B thoughts so that is good info for me to take to the team. Thanks.

For some additional reference here's a link to a detailed study of FA18 catapult end speeds:

The F/A18C NATOPS Flight Manual also discusses catapult end speeds in Section 8.2.8

hey NineLine!

Did this fix make it to the release of the SC?

I'm playing the campaign "Cage the bear" from kaba:

when launching (using burner) the F/A18C from CVN-72 Lincoln I see IAS of 200+ kts at the end of the cat.

DCS 2.5.6.49718 Open Beta hot fix: same issue when launching from CVN-72.

210+kts at the end of the cat

CVN-71 is fine

Just tried this again at the weekend. Launched a fully loaded F-14 (6xPH, 2xSP, 2xA9 & two external tanks) and I’m still getting to the end of the cat with around 200kts end speed
