some1 Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Chasing that damn thing is an exercise in futility. It moves away when you bank towards it and in general its response to aircraft pitch and bank is strange, unlike any form of flight direction or target guidance. Also the sensitivity of the symbol on the HUD and ADI is very different, the one on the HUD moves all over the place. Not that the one on ADI is any more useful, it just moves less. Hextopia Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 That might be caused by TWS-A flitting around trying to find the optimal scan area. Have a human rio sit in back and monitor it and you'll probably find it's moving the TWS scan volume around a lot.
