opps Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 (edited) By designating bandit and commanding "Engage my target", AI wingman should start engaging designated bandit. This command works in F/A-18, F-16 and F-15C but not in JF-17.JF-17_AI.trkF-18_AI.trk Edited April 26, 2020 by uboats
shaHeen-1 Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Doesn't work in the BVR instant action for me. Wingman loves his SD10 and hates me apparently. Won't use them until I'm dead.
L0op8ack Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Fixed AI radio command: wingman 'Engage'->'My Target' AWACS 'declare'
shaHeen-1 Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Also will wingman engage bandits work? That didnt work in the instant action for me either
L0op8ack Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 'engage bandits' is not predictable, it's all AI behavior, they decide which target to attack. 'engage' -> 'my target', wingman will attack your SPI(must be AA/AG target, radar SAM/TWS/STT target, WMD point track target etc)
shaHeen-1 Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 My problem is that it doesn't respond or attack ANYTHING until I'm dead even though I was on freq recommended by the mission. Until then it's basically pretending to be a decoy and a loud RWR that says missile 11 o clock. That's it. When I die then it starts fighting.
L0op8ack Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 You need know your AI wingman more. Use COM1 preset 021 (243.00 Mhz) for AI wingman communication. tell him ECM/radar on; tell hime pince right or left / climb, designate target for him and tell him attack your target; or just tell him wait at current position, call 'cover me' when you're ready attack targets; they will do their jobs pretty good. Fly as a team leader is not easy, get use to it.
shaHeen-1 Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 XD maybe it should be team leader if it's so smart.
