Tread_Head57 Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Every time I load 2x 1100L tanks I get the master warning and “config” lights up on the warning panel. I’m not overweight, so not sure what’s wrong? And ideas?
AeriaGloria Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 You put it in AG2? Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
Tread_Head57 Posted April 26, 2020 Author Posted April 26, 2020 You put it in AG2? No I didn’t, thanks. Also, where does it show how much is left in each tank? Thanks.
shaHeen-1 Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Err in the main menu of the MFDs. Either there's a FUEL option there or there's a DATA option and it's in there. One of the two. I forget. It will show both internal and external. As a rule of thumb internal fuel is ~5100 and since Jeff balances fuel tanks, the tanks should have total fuel-5100/2. Total fuel can be seen on the HUD at all times. It's in the top right corner. The little +xxxx number.
foxwxl Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 With wing tank equipped, AG2 should be selected. You can use your FUEL page or advisory panel(will illumate if tank is empty) to verify if the tank is empty. Deka Ironwork Tester Team
Tread_Head57 Posted April 27, 2020 Author Posted April 27, 2020 Thanks everyone. Been flying the JF-17 during the demo period. Absolutely loving it and will definitely buy.
shaHeen-1 Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Also the green fuel bar will change from half empty to full again when you hit 5100 total fuel. That will mean that its now indicating internal capacity only.
Jester2138 Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Also the green fuel bar will change from half empty to full again when you hit 5100 total fuel. That will mean that its now indicating internal capacity only. What fuel bar? Must be missing this. I'm aware of two indicators of fuel quantity: HUD top-right and data->fuel MFCD page.
shaHeen-1 Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Lol the big green fuel bar. Typically on the bottom half of left MFD.
Blinky.ben Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 If you press the the UFC 7 (FUL) it will give you a diagram breaking down how much fuel is in every fuel tank. But on the left screen in the bottom quarter there are 2 bars on the right side of the screen. The Bar on the left is a graphical representation of how much fuel you have as the bar drops down. When you carry fuel tanks the bar will represent what in the external tanks first then when the tanks hav depleted reaching about half way down the bar, the bar will look full again but now showing what you have in you internal tanks. The numbers on top of the bar are how much total fuel you have.
Tiger-II Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 The main fuel quantity display has two modes: Internal only: [==========] 5120 External with fuel: [=======.......] 6000 Max external: [==========] 9140 Externals neeearly empty: [======.........] 5121 Internal tanks with empty externals: [==========] 5120 It's rather a neat feature. Basically - look out for 5120 - when it hits that level, the externals are empty and you can dump the tanks.
