rale26 Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 In general in DCS, when tower gives you inbound heading is it true or magnetic? I also noticed that distance is given by tower in nautical miles, yet in map distance is measured in km. Is there a way to set map distance measuring tool in nautical miles as well? Cheers
VampireNZ Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Don't know specifically for DCS, but tower controllers should provide vectors in magnetic. Change your units to imperial in the options menu gameplay tab. Vampire
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 I haven't checked yet for towers, but AWACS uses true heading.
