Phred Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Hey everyone, new poster here looking for some help. I've been flying the Viper a lot recently, and have been experiencing a strange issue during takeoff. As soon as my wheels leave the runway, all 60 of my flares get dumped from the aircraft. The chaff is fine, and when the flares dump there is no "Chaff/Flare" from Betty. Altering the CMDS in the DED does not help either. I looked around and did not see this issue posted anywhere else or in the bugs section, so I'm feeling like it could be an issue on my end. I've tried repairing DCS, uninstalling and reinstalling the module, tried deleting my users/name/saved games/dcs files, resetting controls to default, flew on both Steam version and standalone version, and even unplugged my HOTAS and took off with keyboard and mouse. This issue was present every time I took off. I'm not really sure what else to try, or what else could be causing this issue. Any help would be appreciated!
Harker Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Sounds like the JETT switch on the CMDS panel is activated. It dumps all flares when airborne. regards Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Ah!! A third ( hidden) flight mode.... There were already a 'game' and a 'sim' mode. The third one is the 'airshow mode :-)
