Dear developers,

 

since there is no wish list here, I'll give it a try. Since many in my squadron and of course I have a lot of fun with your module SA 342, I would like to ask you to integrate the following things:

 

1) Please solve the missing mass problem / feeling

2) Please integrate an anti-ice / heating device (even if it flies at minus 30 degrees because it is not simulated)

3) Add a universal desert skin for all countries

4) The minigun gunner should be able to automatically detect targets

 

Please do not take the wishes as a criticism. I would be very happy if you think about adding it. You agreed to point 1 and I believe you too, but I still wanted to mention it. I wish you every success, because we simply need more helicopters in DCS.

Go to the Discord. As stated before, the devs have left the forum, but they're on all the time over there.

They're busy with the Kiowa, but are rivisiting the Gazelle once it's out.

Hi Crash,

 

1) Missing mass is a bit of a debatable issue but we will address it with the help of our pool of real gazelle pilots when the flight model overhaul gets some traction.

 

2) Will look in to anti-ice / heating device and how this is done on the real life Gazelle.

 

3) Desert skin is a good idea, added it to my personal to-do list, thanks.

 

4) Minigun version was intended for multicrew only when it was added as a free bonus model. Implementing a UH-1 type AI system is something I'd like to see implemented myself and is on our list of things to research.

moi j'aimerai bien que le modèle stationnaire soit vraiment moins difficile. Est ce possible d'arriver à faire cela ? Je ne joue plus avec la Gazelle à cause de cela.

I really love this helicopter but believe it could do with a few extra features to make it perfect.

 

 

1. Rain on the glass effect.

2. AI minigun gunner as above.

3. AI copilot a bit like a slightly dumbed down F14 Jester. It would be amazing for him to call out missile launches, spikes and other aircraft etc.

Hello Polychop team.

 

I notice that the gazelle is getting some attention again. So maybe I would like to mention the point about the heating system again.

Don't want to push, but it's been almost a year and a half since then. But the current improvements give me hope again.

My only real wish is to be able to remove the minigun and have a civilianised version... without the missile apparatus or the weight of the gun!
