In real life, the bomb might detonate assuming the fuze is triggered, but it won't follow the trajectory of a dumb bomb. A Paveway's fins are larger to help it conserve energy and "fly" to the target (though it's fall is still mostly ballistic) as opposed to merely being kept straight while falling.

 

So while it might be theoretically possible, your bomb computer doesn't have the ballistics data for an unguided Paveway.

Ok tha ks

If you guys are wondering why I asked see my INS probs thread. A dce campaign keeps getting wps wrong and its really hard to 1 man laser bomb when youre flying wirh no wps! The lantirn seems to know where the correct ones are but its such a vear that in both sorties Id have dived and pickled all my LGBs if I could in the future.

Now I know its a M Kill for me
