Is instant action mission "F-16 Cold and Dark Persian Gulf" bugged? Performance wise

I'm starting to think, there might be something wrong with mission:

Instant action - F-16 Cold and Dark - Persian Gulf

No matter what I try with my graphics settings, I can't seem to get my fps above 35 and looking around the cockpit is not smooth at all. When looking through the cockpit, it's quite stuttering.

On all other missions I tried, default ones and user made, everything runs pretty smooth.

I'm using a HP Reverb and tried:

  • Motion reprojection settings in auto and disabled, both in the WMR setting file as in SteamVR
  • Setting PD to 0.6
  • SS in SteamVR to 100%
  • DCS graphics settings all to low/minimum (except for textures, because.. well.. PD0.6 with textures set to low makes everything pretty unreadable)
  • and of course (the usual suspects) cleared my fxo and metashader2 folders

Anyone else seeing this?

This is an example of the issues heavily reported on in 2.5.6. There are lots of other examples, e.g. Home on the Range.

It’s a CPU issue and that’s why you are not seeing any change when you try different graphic settings.

ED are on the case.

Ok, thanks.

I know there are issues with 2.5.6. But I was asking, because in this particular mission I noticed it far more than on any other (didn't know about Home on the range as I don't own NTTR). I did a bit of cpu overclocking last week. Went to a relatively "safe" 4.8GHz and tried this mission. I did not see any change actually. Maybe if I pushed it to about 5GHz I would have seen improvement, but I decided to go back to stock speed. Not seeing any change makes it not really worth the risk imo.
