Tholozor Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 (edited) That Redkite video is out of date. Each station has its own set of TOO coordinates. STEP to station 7 and designate TOO1 for target A, step to station 3 and designate TOO1 for target B. Do not step back to the first station while a TGT position exists, or it will overwrite the original St.7 TOO1. If you Undesignate after designating the final station (TGP will go into Snowplow mode if you do this), you can step between the two stations and observe St.3 TOO1 and St.7 TOO1 are different coordinates. Stations will only share their TOO coordinates if they are selected together with QTY, which will command all selected stations to target the same coordinates. sobe Posted May 12, 2020 Author Posted May 12, 2020 Tholozor: Thank you for your response. Do you have to undesignate before the step to then next station? STEP to station 7 and designate TOO1 for target A, step to station 3 and designate TOO1 for target B. Tholozor Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 (edited) It's not required, but as I mentioned, pressing Undesignate will return the TGP to Snowplow mode. If you step to a station that already has a TOO coordinate designated while a TGT/Designation point exists, that station's TOO coordinate will be overwritten. So if you did this: - Station 7 designate TOO1 - Step to station 3 - Station 3 designate TOO1 - Step to station 7 Your Station 7 TOO1 would be overwritten and you would have to re-designate it again. If you did this: - Station 7 designate TOO1 - Step to station 3 - Station 3 designate TOO1 - Undesignate - Step to station 7 Your Station 7 TOO1 coordinate would not be overwritten. TOO coordinates will automatically write the TGT coordinate position into its memory when a station becomes the "active" visible station, but only as long as the TGT point exists. Undesignating will allow you to step freely between any station without writing coordinates into memory. If you had Stations 7 and 3 loaded with BRU-55 dual racks, the workflow might look something like this: - Station 7 designate TOO1 - Step to station 3 - Station 3 designate TOO1 - Undesignate - Switch Station 3 to TOO2 - Step to Station 7 - Switch Station 7 to TOO2 - Station 7 designate TOO2 - Step to Station 3 - Station 3 designate TOO2 Edited May 12, 2020 by Tholozor REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
