Campaign Comms

Is there any way to voice control the various campaign communications under the F10 menu? I know i can bring the menu up with options, but thats as far as i can get ?

Once you have done this you can then use Take + the option number to select the menu item (e.g. F5 would be Take 5

It might be my ageing memory playing tricks with me, but didn't there used to be a command something like "Other Options", that opened up the comms menu inside the F10 menu?

From the manual, it would appear that what i thought was "other options" is in fact "mission options".

just saying "options" gets you there

Doesn't that just open up the top level comms menu? It does for me.

 

"Mission options" should take you straight to the F10 menu.

i just tried this albiet out of game, and it recoginise's "mission" and it recognises "options" as sounds it doesn't recognise them as commands, even though they are listed as commands, i have extended command set, selected in Preferences

I just open the top level menu and then use the Take command to open the sub menu

You might try "Mystery" instead of "Mission" since the former is listed in the manual's table of miscellaneous recipients and the latter is not. This seems to be an inconsistency in the documentation. Personally I haven't tried either one and am away from my DCS rig so can't test now.

ah, now "mystery" does ring a bell. I'll give that a try as i was probably getting that mixed up with "other".
