About .55M at FL200, .6M at FL300, .72M at FL400

Hope you have a good seat, the F14 can spend a lot of time in the air when throttled back at high altitudes

were doing a scramble mission soon with 3.5 fuel and a fair way to travel, climb to fl 40 at mil power and m0.7?

You’re below bingo, either carry more fuel or refuel immediately after launch.

Engines will burn around 7,000lbs/hr each. Even if you climb at an efficient speed, you’re not going to have much of a combat radius.

not an option, started with 3500lb took off full mil climb to fl 40 then travelled 135 miles. landed with 900lb, that cruise profile worked a treat

I was once at 30000ft, 120nm from home plate with 2000lb of fuel left, and a mig15 on my tail which required some afterburner time to get rid of. I went back eventually with a couple hundred pounds of fuel left. Amazing range of this aircraft.

Thats the wonderful thing about thr new dce campaigns if u request urgent refueling the tanker flys at your flight. Usually i can be fully fuelled up and get up to 40k (and then 90% throttle burns 2k lbs per hr. And i got abr 14k lbs lbs left!)

My wingmen use A ALOT of fuel. If u got time at ALL call fornthe tanker as soon as you wheels up (if youre intercepting more than 1 plane or cap - lol IRIAF camp otherwise same from CV) let your boys gonrefuel afta u call the tanker. Meanwhile you go up nice and high and throttle back. The flight will show up in 15 min or sonwith about 40% more fuel than they would have had. This can be the difference between wingmen crashing on the way home
