QuiGon Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 I can't start DCS anymore since todays update. I get an error message when I try to launch DCS now: The message in english says: DCS.exe - Application Error The application could not been started properly (0xc0000022). Click "OK" to close the application.I've already tried DCS Repair, but no success. I also replaced my DCS.exe with the one from here. No success either. I've never had any issues before What can I do? Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
QuiGon Posted May 20, 2020 Author Posted May 20, 2020 Maybe this has something to do with the error: When I updated to 2.5.6.49314, I cancelled the update to switch to HTTP download, but instead it just stopped updating (apparently HTTP download wasn't available) and launched the game instead. I then got the login error during startup as other users did. I clicked it away and restartet the updater to download the update using the default torrent download. After the update process was complete the game tried to launch, resulting in the error message I posted above. Now I'm stuck with this error which comes everytime I try to launch DCS :( Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
ex81 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 There has been a similar error month ago. When Kaspersky deleted a file. Maybe it is the same situation. It`s just a thought, maybe others who know more can help. Hope so. What goes up, must come down !
