Wavehopper Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 I just did the carrier quali instant action mission. However, crossing the round down there was a collision of some kind causing the VDI to crap out. Looking at the tac view the model of the carrier seems to show a vertical lip at the round down which intersected my glideslope (I was a tad low). Tac view is on my dropbox at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pa809dlhqdxn3j5/Tacview-20200520-181209-DCS-F-14B_IA_Caucasus_Quals_supercarrier.zip.acmi?dl=0 (my wingman seemingly just flew into the water but he was far enough back not to make contact with me) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9G7AVfi68SovXCTCH-7fA
RustBelt Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 How low is "A Tad Low"? Because it doesn't take much on a carrier between a tad low and crashed. Also remember to give the Kiss Off command at the break to your flight. The pattern is a single file operation.
Wavehopper Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 A tad low as on glide slope but low. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9G7AVfi68SovXCTCH-7fA
