I searched this forum for JDAM procedure that was here. Becouse either I have forgotten it, or it has changed.

In F10 set targets and name them T00, T01, T02, etc..

Completely forgot the key shortcut to upload those targets to CAS page. Plus it is not listed in Control Options/General

New update added target selection for JDAM via TPOD.

Procedure for that if I recall;

Designate target via TPOD

Select JDAM from STRS set FUZE and Release to AUTO.

Fly toward target, SENSOR FWD to get dynamic release zone

Release weapon

Problem is that I no longer get Dynamic Release Zone via Sensor FWD.

It’s hold and release Waypoint Increment button , not Sensor Fwd

The shortcut key combo to import target marks from F10 map is written on the Kneeboard.

I think it's RShift+RAlt+8 or something like that.

This is different from the TOO (Target Of Opportunity) coordinates handoff from TPOD to JDAM, which AvroLanc correctly indicates is Waypoint Increment long press.

Your target coordinates will also appear on that same Kneeboard page after the RShift + RAlt + 8.

And that page includes a reminder of the keybind to transfer target coordinates which is real handy.

Nice. I've been training myself on Hornet and Gazelle, and of course my real world skills with Houdini+Maya. All those key shortcuts , and I forgot a bunch of stuff in Harrier. I suppose that happens in RW aviation.

A bit of carry over from my VFX, is a nifty little texture baker called Marmoset Toolbag. Basically after painting your texture maps (for Harrier or F/A-18), take the maps and 3d model (have to extract from DCS) into Marmoset. Load HDR and set lights, and bake textures out. It generates textures that are much more realistic, and are game engine independent. Its popular among Unreal, Krytek, and Unity in game, and its used in VFX for processing texture scans and LIDAR scans.
