F-16: No A/A or A/G weapons

Hi! When I create a fast mission, I have no A/A or A/G weapons at my F-16 Viper. In the adv. config I have the opportunitet to select weapon. Whatever I choose, the F-16 remains without weapons. If I fly an inbuild mission all weapon are in place. I use DCS 2.5 (no beta).

Bacicly I need help to solve the issue.

Save the mission and edit it

Yes, I use to save my mission. I will take a look at the edit. Is it possible to select own def. payload?

I just try to create a fast mission for my F-18 at Dubai. I saved all parameters and then click edit. In the edit mode I can not find anything weapon related regarding own A/C in the edit field.

Check the role of the aircraft. Loadouts are role-specific. Some roles do not have loadouts pre-saved.

 

Otherwise you can always click on "new" on the bottom and do your own custom loadout.

Yes, I have just tried your suggestion but the issue remains. I use F-16 and F-18 in DCS v2.5. I selected a A/G attack at the Persian Gulf but still no weapon for me or the wing man. I can not change from CAP-mode. no matter what I choose. It is always CAP. Maybe it´s not possible to carry weapons in v 2.5 when create a fast mission for F-18 and F-16. Maybe I need to install the Beta v2.5. I really do not know.

Thank´s Frank! I will take a look! I coming from P3D and VRS F/A-18E and Milviz T-38C=I have a lot to learn about DCS. I guess I'm wrong somewhere in the procedure.

Now I have install v2.5 open beta=I have no longer issue regarding missing weapon when I create a fast mission.

FYI. Several things works better in v2.5 Beta.
