Hello.

The old SST software was giving you the ability

to pass multiple commands in a button, by using

the TOGGLE type on a button. So you could toggle

different commands every time that you press it.

But, the present one doesn't have this ability.

Does any one have find out how to use TOGGLE ?

Thank you

I have the old SST programming and current Logitech s/ware but cannot see where you can use a toggle button in this way? I was trying to get a button to step incrementally through keypresses 1 to 7 for the FC3 craft, but it wont do this, I assigned instead to 7 bands on a rotary axis. Some of the DCS commands have option for 'step up' / 'step down' through options for a rotary knob, and these can then easily be assigned to a toggle button up or down. You just assign the correct DCS keypresses to the toggle in the Saitek s/ware

thank you for your reply and help.

A button that can execute a command

of a sequence of commands

every time that you click it,

is very useful to pass commands instead to move

around with the mouse to click at the cockpit.

I will try to combine X52 profiler with DCS abilities.

Maybe the solution is somewhere inside DCS Options.

As for the TOGGLE, in past software was there as an

option (like you choose Do Nothing, Unprogrammable etc)

for EVERY button or rotary. Its pitty that they subtracted it.

the logitech program still allows setup of 'macros' to execute any number of set keystrokes, so for example I have one for F-18 carrier landings where a single button press puts flaps n full, extends hook, turns on landing lights and extends landing gear.

These can be programmed in via 'New advanced command' option.

You can also select - unprogrammed- for every button/rotary mouse, in the logitech program if you wish. Then it will be DCS keybind entries that will control the input.

thank you my friend.

Do you happened to know if this can be done inside DCS ?

(Toggle sequence of commands, not Macro)

DCS key press assignments do not have the capability I'm afraid. Only if a certain action has a select up / select down option like gear and flaps, etc. can you then assign these to a toggle up/toggle down

Have you checked out this video?

watch from about 4 minutes in, probably one of the clearest and most helpful videos about programming the Saitek software, and applicable to all saitek controllers - it will give you a really good idea of what functions you can program in with just the saitek software. Anything else more complicated, as Ant0ine says, will need joystick gremlin and a virtual joystick setup.

thank you for the suggestion. I've tried VJOY in past

but i left it aside as needed to work in a non safe

Windows mode.
