I have watched tutorial videos from the Grim Reaper guys and also Redkite...

BUT...

For the life of me, I cannot appear to be able to change the code - for both spot search and weapon dsignation!

I have the In A/G Mode, Master Arm is On, FLIR up and running, LTDR is on as is LST. Then when I go to the UFC to change the code for either the UFC code flashes and it changes back to default 1688!

I am obviously doing something wrong or could I be using the wrong version of DCS???

Any help much appreciated!

When you go into the UFC, are you selecting LTDC?

Which code are you inserting? The codes have some rules that I'm sure a more experienced user can chime in...

For weapon laser code: After you clicked on CODE on the HSI page make sure you click on CODE on the UFC too before entering a number.

For LTDR laser code: After you clicked on UFC on the FLIR page make sure you click on LTDC on the UFC before entering a number. LST is not needed for laser designation and can be off.

For the number the following restrictions apply:

1st digit: 1

2nd digit: 5-7

3rd digit: 1-8

4th digit: 1-8

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

AHHHHHH... I now see my error. It is the code I had assigned to the CTLD JTAC! I used 1650!! I did not know there was a matrix for the codes on the TGP.

thank you for you help!:)

I'm no expert on the details, but these restrictions have something to do with limits of the laser frequency, which is what you are setting here in the end :)
