ILS Landing in Dubai not working

Hi,

 

 

I wanted to exercise landing with ILS. Trying so landing in Dubai, I dont get it to work. I've set up the ILS, it's on, according to Map it's to the right frequency, I am only 7nm away. but somehow it does not work (getting no information in HSI nor in HUD. However, I hear the peeps). What am I doing wrong? (I also tried the other ILS frequency)

Dubai's default runway (with zero wind) is RWY 30R, ILS 110.90.

 

To land on RWY 12L, ILS 110.10 you'll need to set a 6 knot headwind i.e. towards 300°T

I see. Not it's workingm using 110.90. Dont know what I did wrong presiously.

 

 

But now I am still consued as I am missing is the Glide Slope. The Localizer seems to work, but the other. Is this normal for some airports?

In the A-10C, the ADI's steering bar for the glide slope only became active @ ~5 nm but the glide slope indicator at the side was working and both ILS "flags" had cleared.

 

Is this normal for some airports?

I've seen similar behaviour for other modules/airports on the Caucasus map in 2.5.6, I'm not sure if it's intended or WIP as it's much shorter ranged than previous (perhaps it's a narrower beam / weaker signal ? ).

I think the ILS "window" is just quite narrow. I was unable to pick it up without adding good waypoints leading up to the entry (M2000C)
