More on coms

Need some help.

I for the life of me cannot get an airfield, carrier or refueling tanker to respond to me unless I an in the “refueling practice “ or “carrier landing” practice missions.

I have tried manually tuning jester, dialing in frequency myself ect and nothing.

I have srs running but obviously this uses the drop down menu.

This is specifically for the f14 as its the only thing I fly currently. I can talk just fine on srs and intercom but realize its a different deal.

Im sure its me. What am I missing?

Already tried a search, no luck. Maybe my next search will be how to make the search function work.

Perhaps those missions have easy comms enabled and enforced by default. Look through your controls and make sure you use the in-cockpit radio button rather than the generic comms menu button. Most common problem about that.
