Xxx Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Hi, I am wanting to place a ogg mission sound file into a home made mission. I cant find the ogg file. Its the ogg sound file "ending mission" from the M2kCampaign. Anyone know where the ogg sound is located? Kreutzberg Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but didn't want to create a new one. I'm a relative novice in the mission editor, and am unsure how to actually do this. I can use something like this web mission editor to pull out .ogg files (link), but is there a way to get at them directly in the editor?

None that I know of, the DCS Editor works on the assumption that you create your sound files outside of DCS and then allows you to add those sound files inside the MIZ so that the mission can play them when needed ... since you already have the sounds outside DCS there is no need for the Editor to export those out of the MIZ. Kreutzberg Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Thanks. I'm really just trying to sort through some badly done default missions on the AH-64D, and was curious what the messages were supposed to be. They use AI Task Push to do multiple things, and I can't just directly play the OGG files from there. The web editor is a reasonable enough workaround.
