JanK Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Finding it really hard to lock up anything at range, TV is really bright from mission starts and needs a lot of fiddling to get the contrast ok, anyone else or repair time?
randomTOTEN Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Got a good lock on a tank first try.. yeah a little lowering of the brightness at mission start...not too much fiddling on my end. Instant Action > Caucasus > Shooting Range EDIT: The Caution lights still work fantastically in the Kamov LOL

randomTOTEN Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Glad I could help, Yeah pretty much every module has been affected by the latest change to the lighting.. it seems the Kamov came out pretty well considering... Did you get this sorted? I can also post a very short track if that can help...

randomTOTEN Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 My 2nd try at recording. I counted ~24 clicks down of my mouse wheel... better to just click and drag the knob. I remembered to MASTER ARM and LASER ARM this time :). Also no contrast change just for simplicity. Track is attached to this post.:thumbup:Skhval Grey.trk

razalom Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Yeah had a go tonight in VR and it was not nice lol - both the HUD was pretty unusable with NVG now and the TV display is pretty bad. Got it so it was viewable but was still bad really:(

Something has changed...but I'm not sure its a bug or they changed it to reflect reality?? I don't recall any changes in the change log? You should still get airspeed displayed top left on the screen, even without Shkval on. Maybe a horizon bar as well? I can't remember offhand and am not able to look right now... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

TopoSolitario Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Same problem here... it seems a couple of beta versions before, the default shkval brightness is set to max... it takes you about a couple of seconds to adjust it, but it is annoying to do it every time. Blame the maintenance guy, his cousin manufactures screens for the air force in a factory at Severomorsk. and now he tryes to destroy all screens he can!
