[NO BUG] ACM guard up = stuck in boresight mode

In the HB F-14, when you flip the ACM guard up, the gun rate goes to high, the SW cool to on, the Missile prep to on, and the missile mode to boresight. You can switch off the first 3, but you cannot select missile mode= normal until the guard is up.

 

Is this a bug or was it like this in the real Tomcat?

Any words please? Looks like it’s only stuck in boresight mode when I select sparrows.

Hey bud, I think that is intended behavior. ACM cover up = brst mode, which overrides any other modes. So if you want to use normal mode again, you need to close the cover again, too.
