LeCuvier Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 If a use the auto-start macro everything runs fine. But if I start the engine manually (which I can do now after a lot of trying), after take-off the engine performance is not constant. It doesn't seem to produce full püower and periodically I see dips in manifold pressure and RPM. You could say that power output is cycling. I have reviewed the auto-start macro step by step, and I'm sure I do everything the macro does, but the result is not the same. What could I be missing? LeCuvier Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 You caught me there! Yes, the auto-star macro does re-lock the primer and no, I had not done hat. I thought it wasn't important but apparently it is. I tried again with re-locking the primer and the engine runs smoothly. The manual start seems a bit more tricky than in the German warbirds, I still have to re-try sometimes, but I'll learn!.
