BMGZ06 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 So the tomcat is limited to 3 way-points but I see the map marker commands can be used as well. The issue is how do I even make use of this?If I got to the F10 and place a label on the map is that how I would do it? If so then I have not figured out how to get it to work The vaicom manual talks about map markers being designated as a "surface target or fixed point etc" but I do not see how to actually designate it. VirusAM Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 (edited) You can use the command "Map Marker"...if you say "Map Marker 1 to Waypoint 1" Jester will use that f10 map marker and will input its coordinates in the Tomcat NAV system. You need to enable the AIRIO dialog extension for that to work. To place the markers on the map and label it I suggest to watch this: Edited June 12, 2020 by VirusAM R7-5800X3D 64GB RTX-4090 LG-38GN950 N/A Realsimulator FFSB MKII Ultra+F-16 grip+F/A-18 grip, VKB Stecs Max, VKB T-Rudder MKV, Razer Tartarus V2 Secrets Lab Tytan, Monstertech ChairMounts
BMGZ06 Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 Ya I know how to do it with the jester menu but that is disabled with AIRIO. I tried this method in the video with AIRIO and used the map marker number in the command and jesters acknowledges and starts typing war and peace into the nav system back there but then I get no new steerpoint info to follow. No range info or anything. He understands the normal navigate to steerpoint 1-3 just fine. So AIRIO is working.
