eatthis Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 1 iv always called it corner speed but ive been informed its actually called max rat peed, the speed at which max sustained turn rate is attained. 2 what is that speed for the cat? Iv always worked off 330 knots+-20 but recently iv heard mach 0.55 is the bsst speed for sustained rate, which is it (if either)? 7700k @5ghz, 32gb 3200mhz ram, 2080ti, nvme drives, valve index vr

captain_dalan Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 So its ias not mach? Aerodynamic properties are usually more directly related to airspeed rather then mach number, unless transsonic or supersonic.
