Kula66 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 I realise this has been planned WIP for a while, but i was wondering if I’m reading this correctly- if I advance the throttles to just after AB kicks in, the FF Shows a reading. If I now go max throttle the Ff does not really change, only the nozzle position - is this correct? Thanks
Naquaii Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 It's correct, the instruments do not show afterburner fuel flow, according to our data that's how it was in the real aircraft.
Kula66 Posted June 28, 2020 Author Posted June 28, 2020 Ok, interesting, thanks Naquaii ... so if I push it to the stops, its gulping significantly more fuel than when just into AB, its just not shown?? I know the 16 shows an insane amount of fuel at full AB!

Kula66 Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 One more question, I understand the current display is the 'A' analog version, will that change with the correct 'B' digital engine instruments? Will that show AB fuel flow?
Naquaii Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Yeah, the correct B instruments are being worked on. The functionality will still be the same though, neither the -A nor the -B shows afterburner fuel flow, only basic fuel flow.
