MP server browser is hanging FOREVER

2.5.6.50321: Server browser is very slow, doesn't seem to communicate with my input devices and eventually blocking input completely.

 

UPDATE: After about 10 minutes I get a yellow refresh icon and UI is responsive again.

MP server browser is hanging FOREVER

 

For more than a month now [1] I'm unable to play DCS. The MP server browser is blocking the app with no response at all !!! DEAD BLOCKED !!!!!

 

I've seen other people complain about this as well, and my question is where the hell is ED ?

How can such a crippling bug is going so silent for so long !?

Please attach your dcs log after reproducing the event we may see some clues

 

let us know what connection type you have wired / wifi

 

and let us know your system spec,

After the following operations it took the MP server browser 7 minutes to complete, then (and only then) I managed to play:

 

- Closed Comodo Firewall

- Disabled Router Firewall

- Suspended NOD32 A/V

Can we ask you to update your windows and try again. The log does not show anything obvious other than you are on a slightly older windows version.

I just learned that the issue is mostly when I interact with the MP server browser while it is scanning, then the DCS is blocked. If you want I can produce a new log file for that.

Sure, but while the scan is happening you should allow it to complete, if you do this, does it take less time?
