Starfire13 Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Just started playing this campaign and want to say I am enjoying it thus far. However, I'm having a little trouble with Mission 2. I can't seem to hit the damned speedboats even though I'm firing all over them. Is there any trick to it, or is it just due to my terrible aim and I need to get better? Would rockets be effective for splash damage? Not sure if the rockets would explode on impact with the water, or would only explode after impacting the sea bed.
Apache600 Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Feel free to load up the rockets and give those a shot too, I personally haven't tried it. The speed boats can be difficult to hit. And it doesn't help that they're kinda tough to spot in the water. I would always give a quick burst to see where my shots landed in relation to the boat, then adjust appropriately, and give it hell. Good luck with it! If it gets to frustrating, you can always skip the mission. Starfire13 Posted July 9, 2020 Author Posted July 9, 2020 I tried the rockets and they did not work well at all. So I went back to guns and practiced. After a while, I figured out how much to lead the boats by and it got significantly easier after that. Now I'm on Mission 4. :)
