I was training the VAICOM PRO with the phrases that you are supposed to speak, and some didn't work so I skipped it, I want to come back to it later...but then it occurred to me--Will I ahve to rerecord all 870 phrases, or can I just do the ones that I skipped?

Also, when I was recording the phrase "Select...", the Microsoft app wouldn't take note of it, instead it would say "Selecting..." and then hang. Any tips on that?

Thanks!

You can just train the commands you want so you only need to do those you skipped:thumbup:

For the Select command, try adding it to the Microsoft speech dictionary and recording it. To do this, right click on the Microsoft microphone when in speech training and select Open the Speech Dictionary and then add the word

Windows 11 Home ¦ Z790 AORUS Elite AX motherboard ¦ i7-13700K ¦ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory @ 5600MHz ¦ Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for OS, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD for DCS ¦ MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB ¦ Virpil WarBRD base with VFX grip, Thrustmaster A10c and F/A-18 grips ¦ VKB Gunfighter Mk4 and MCG Pro ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle ¦ VKB STECS Throttle ¦ Virpil TCS rotor base with Shark and AH-64D  grips ¦ MFG Crosswinds ¦ Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box ¦ Pimax Crystal

What Hornblower says, and remember that there is no "training" in VAICOM. You only train yourself/pronunciation. The only "training" of the speech recognition, is the paragraphs you read in the Microsoft Speech Recognition itself. Do it at least three times. More might even be better.

Adding names and places to the dictionary with recordings, can also help.

Cheers
