automatic track saves

For those of us who forget to save tracks after a particularly epic mission.

 

an option to have tracks save automatically would be great. that way people like me could just go back and delet the tracks they don't want. or at-least have a temp recording of the last couple tracks?

Nah, you're right. I'd love it too, if the tracks were more useful though...

In SP, tracks are saved automatically...until the next mission you fly. Then it’s overwritten. I’m not at my computer so I can’t point you to the exact location (not Saved Games and not the sim’s installation folder) or file name. It’s saved me more than once when I quit the sim but forgot to save the track.

 

Of course, in MP they are simply saved automatically.

 

EDIT: The file name is LastMission.trk in C:\Users\(Your User Name\AppData\Local\Temp\(Your DCS Installation Name)

thanks, yeah i read about this during my search afterwords, that'll definitely come in handy if i every forget ot save a track!
