Works on my end, do you have a track? Remember that under normal conditions, a single aircraft should not be able to determine if a contact is hostile by itself. An IFF interrogation cannot 'return' as hostile. It can only respond to the interrogation as friendly, or not respond at all. The system can only designate a contact as hostile if certain conditions are met.

A HAFU can only be hostile if a contact fails your IFF interrogation, and one of the following is true:

- Your aircraft has a positive NCTR print on the aircraft and determined it to be of hostile type (here's where DCS takes a few liberties, since certain aircraft may be on opposing coalitions).

- A Surveillance track has flagged the contact as hostile.

- Another fighter has flagged the contact as hostile and is donating it over datalink (contacts can be flagged manually).

Also, keep in mind that with the addition of the Neutral coalition, some contacts may always remain Unknown.
