hi, i'm new, i'm having a little fun with the editor and i have to say i'm easy to do nice things.

But I would like to ask you a perhaps trivial question ...

I have set flags, is it possible in some way, or through the F10 menu, or through the use of messages on the screen to see the status of a flag, real, an instruction like print flag (5)?

Thanks for any suggestions you want to give me.

Hi,

Maybe there is an easier way that I'm not aware of, but currently I use a component of the DCS-BIOS utility for this type of things .. the component is called "LUA Console", you can download it from here:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2356934

For example, Here I set Flag 1 to a random value between 1 and 100:

... and here I use LUA Console to print its value on the game screen:

On this case, the value of Flag 1 is 67 ... the text appears among any other text that the mission may display .. on this quick sample I used the mission I'm currently editing, so the flag value shows like that.

Best regards,

Eduardo

I have installed DCS - Bios hub. I have a problem though.

Given that I have neither arduino nor other similar devices. In the pc I installed both DCS stable and DCS OpemBeta. But when I install DCS-Bios as a connection it only shows me dcs world stable.

How can I manually enter the OpenBeta too ??

You may want to get help on the dcs-bios thread, where your questions will be viewed by people experienced with it.

I don’t either .. I don’t use the whole dcs-bios, just the lua console.

I truly don’t know, I have only a single DCS on my PC :(

Thank you for your suggestion. Actually I had done a search and I found many threads that talk about DCS - Bios, so I decided to continue the discussion here.

Anyway now I write in the right thread.
