Ground power used for maintenance AND for fast start. Like on alert 5, get everything align and warm, then start engine when needed.

In real life, you can fuel the a/c with engines on. I never seen loading weapon with engines on.

DCS is not at all realistic on the time needed to loaded any a/c.

Better to have another a/c loaded, ready on ground power with ins, radar and all on, jump in and start both engines. Loading with engines running is a wast of fuel, and loading with power could be explosif, stray voltage and other pleasant unpredicatable outcome.

For me it's not abour rearming, but about repairing the aircraft. When I land after a sortie to repair the aircraft, I have to power down the engines. WIth other aircrtaft (like the A-10C for example) I can use ground power to keep the systems up and running and the nav system aligjned, while being repaired with engines off. I know this is not realistic at all, but it's something that works in DCS with other aircraft and I wonder if there is a way to do this with the DCS Hornet as well.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
