Serpent's Head 2 trouble with first mission??

Is anyone else having issues with the first mission?? I can unload every gun round into one of the Su-25s and it won't go down... smoke is flying off it, parts falling off but I can't down it. I've ran it 10 times and I either run out of ammo before downing even 1 or get killed by a heater from the 2nd plane. I've never had a problem with gun kills before. I set up a simple scenario in ME with a single F-18 and an SU-25 and I can down it with 2-3 solid gun bursts easily.

I recall seeing a reply from Glyn in one of the related threads. But as I recall the SU's are invulnerable until they have performed their attack run and are departing. Let them complete their run, and once they are clear of the airfield you should be able to easily bring them down. I had a similar issue. I was getting shot down by them during their initial run, try and stay north of the airfield a little whilst they do the run in, and get yourself lined up behind them ready to take them down once they are departing.

As its part of the plot they need to carry out their mission. I am looking at trying to make them vulnerable a little earlier for you quick off the mark boys. :smilewink:
