The Yeti Tundra 65 is a representative of this premium class. The Yeti Tundra coolers could be made in the USA (Iowa and Wisconsin) or in the Philippines. This rotomolded ice cooler comes with 29lb. weight, 65” dimensions, and around the 53-57-quart size that can hold up to 42 cans of beer with a 2:1 ice-to-can volume. We found this Yeti Tundra is one of the Best Coolers In The World that can provide sufficient insulation. The combination of 3-inch PermaFrost walls, well-fitting lid, white foam coating, and rotomolded manufacturing contributes to impressively gradual heat transmission. In our insulating test for most popular rotomolded and good quality models, the Tundra stands out from others, holding the ice intact after 2 days and the content below 40° F for a week. If you do not open the lid regularly, the Tundra can keep your food and beverage cold up to 14 days or more. This Yeti Tundra offers you a lifetime ice cooler to keep your trips cold and fresh with exceptional durability that is resulted from the rotomolded construction and high-quality materials. It even makes itself a great bench to sit on or can double as a step up into a higher vehicle. The robust T-rex lid latches make it easier to use than other available models. Moreover, this cooler is also featured with non-slip, non-marking rubber feet to keep it in place, a dry goods basket, sturdy rope handles with sure-grip for a quick haul, leak-proof drain plug, and a built-in tie-down capability for stable mounting. This Yeti Tundra product line has gained a lot of attention for its resistance against high and accidental impacts, campfire, and heavy loads. The “65” in the name - Tundra 65 does not imply its holding capability. In reality, this cooler can hold about 53-57 quarts. It’s a pretty wide variance, but 53-57 quarts does still offer a convenient option that fits all needs. One complaint you can usually find when reading reviews about this ice chest is that it is cumbersome, especially when full. We don’t recommend it for older people or those who are out of shape and can’t lift more than 30lbs. The rubber feet also make it difficult to move when loading into or out of a trunk. A final thought To sum up, the Yeti Tundra, one of the Best Coolers For Camping, was designed to avoid frustration during your trip. It is strong-made with three-inch insulation and armored with an intimately durable rotomolded construction. Moreover, this model comes with the bear-resistant features that meets the demands of people with the wild outdoors in mind. It is relatively expensive but worth every penny when you need to keep things fresh for several days. Edited March 15, 2024 by StevenShelby
