VKB Gunfighter 3 Pro serious issues unusable

So I have had my GF3 for about a week now,

I was very excited and had high hopes...

It has a serious Y axis issue where it always is putting back pressure on my controls whilst in the neutral position. The break leaver does not register on axis controls and the buttons give no sense of feel when pressed.

I will say I went with the VKB because of the dry clutch and thought this would give a better return to center more akin to actually flying, whilst this function works brilliantly I am thoroughly frustrated with this stick, I have recalibrated numerous times (The VKB software is abysmal.) I have tried unplugging and reconnecting numerous times and then, the black box the finish was so poor on the connection for my pedals that it took more than 30 minutes to disconnect when the black box refused to recognize my TM pedals.

 

I want to like this stick, why else would I have dropped the coin for it, can anyone assist with getting it working properly before I attempt to return it?

ok, after testing on aircraft I do not normally fly it seems this issue is only present with the F-18 but not present on the F-18 when I use my Warthog.

If anyone has any idea why this is the case? let me know as I normally fly the F-18 and would be rather disappointed if I could not use the GF3 with that aircraft.

Check carefully all the controller assignments - namely all the axis assignments - for the F 18 in the controller setup. Look for any duplicates.
