Renato71 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Hi littlejohn, I suggest you try plying around with LOCFG - Lockon GUI Configurator. Go to Views -> Cockpit Here you can change field of view and your height for each aricraft. Also, increase Minimum field of view. This has the effect of "zoom out". As for zoom itself, I'm not sure if such setting exist. I also have to zoom in or out depending on the aircraft I fly. Hope that helps at least to some extent :) I'm selling MiG-21 activation key. Also selling Suncom F-15E Talon HOTAS with MIDI connectors, several sets. Contact via PM.
S77th-GOYA Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 i dont have track ir. thanks for your reply , all the same . cheers . TrackIR doesn't make any difference. That thread tells you where to adjust you default cockpit view.

S77th-GOYA Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Yes, and you can open it in notepad. I use a free program called notepad++ for these types of edits. It makes things a little easier at times. I wish I could give you better instructions but when I adjusted mine it was pretty much trial and error. Search the forums and you may find better instructions for editing that file.

Kuky Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Open view.lua file and look for these settings (values will be different): -- Camera view angle limits {view angle min, view angle max}. CameraViewAngleLimits = {} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_27] = {40.0, 115.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_33] = {40.0, 115.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_25] = {20.0, 100.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_39] = {20.0, 100.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29] = {40.0, 110.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29K] = {40.0, 110.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iA_10] = {20.0, 90.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {40.0, 105.0} I use these values for zoom (when I fly I am zoomed out to see more of cockpit)... they are separate for each aircraft... try them and set angles to your liking. Kuky Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Something is not right there littlejon... why do you have 3 values where it should be to. If you look at the line description it says "{view angle min, view angle max}" so there should be 2 values, not 3. Do you have FlamingCliffs version or original LockOn only? Edit. to add mre to this, seems that values you are showing is from server.lua file and it's for panning head in cockpit and it's these values (note there are 3 value here) from server.lua file, which corresponds to how much you can turn your head in cockpit: -- Camera angle limits {horizontal angle max, vertical angle min, vertical angle max} CameraAngleLimits = {} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_27] = {160.0, -80.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_33] = {160.0, -80.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_25] = {110.0, -70.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_39] = {110.0, -80.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29] = {160.0, -80.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29K] = {160.0, -80.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iA_10] = {160.0, -70.0, 100.0} CameraAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {160.0, -80.0, 100.0} where as view.lua has this, which corresponds to cocpit zoom or FoV: -- Camera view angle limits {view angle min, view angle max}. S77th-GOYA Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 It looks like the post I found doing that original search had some incorrect/misleading information. Look here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=20107&highlight=cockpit+default+view+angle Pay attention to Alfa's post. The file you want to edit is snapviews.lua. Sorry for steering you wrong.
