Harker Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 This concerns the Hornet, not the Viper. In the Hornet, the primary air target is termed the Launch & Steering (L&S) target. It's the target for which the mission computer provides launch optimization and steering cues and can be stepped to other contacts. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 There's a bug, that when you have set a L&S (primary) and DT2 (secondary) target in TWS, the first contact (initial L&S) would stop getting midcourse updates as soon as you switched to the DT2 as primary using the pinky switch. Apparently that has been fixed, but there's still a bug if you cycle between targets without setting a DT2.
