Lockable Datalink and JHMCS

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to add the option of locking the Datalink and/or JHMCS via the Mission Editor for the Hornet. This way, we could represent in a more accurate manner Hornets from earlier periods and extend the possible scenarios of the airframe, as DL and JHMCS are a pretty modern addition and quickly ruin immersion for 80s and 90s scenarios. Maybe it could be a time-locked feature? As in, scenarios set after a certain date wouldn't have DL or JHMCS?

Would be very cool if JHMCS could be loaded and down loaded as required/possible, for various missions and eras.
