Al Asad lake is too shallow

Hi! First and foremost great job with the map, I'm enjoying it so far.

 

I've been touring some of the main landmarks included on the map and I found that the Lake Al Asad in the north is very shallow. It is an artificial lake after building the Tabqa dam in the Euphrates river and it should be quite deep, but in the game it looks like it is 5 inch deep, at low level you can see the bottom of the lake and no blue colour, like it is a very shallow shore in all the lake.

 

I guess this is because of the new DCS water and lighting than before it didn't matter if water was deep or not, but now it does.

Somehow missed this when i checked through the list of issues - iv'e put out my own post but included a picture for ease.

 

But yes its not just this lake its all of them, they all need review.

 

Apologies for the double post as i like to check first to make sure its not already reported but yes agreed genuine issue!

This is known and was mentioned. This isn't a bug but a graphical engine limitation. Transparent water effect is really nice but causes shallow rivers and lakes. Terrain will improve over time.
